How I Work

 

I create a safe, warm and compassionate space where you can examine all aspects of your current life difficulties. Through exploration of your emotional and psychological distress, within the context of past and present experiences and relationships, you arrive at a deeper understanding of the dynamics of your current problem, and of yourself. 

We explore why old patterns of behaviour were created, enabling you to choose new ways of being. As we work together our relationship becomes a way of growing your awareness of how you might be relating to others and experiencing the world around you. From this place of understanding we work collaboratively, accessing your inner resources and identifying the best way to bring about positive, meaningful change. 

Over time therapy has the potential to expand self-acceptance, creating a more positive and fulfilling way of relating to ourselves, others, and our lives.
